Janice Green, RN, BSN, MBA

Hi, my name is Janice Green RN, BSN MBA, DPS, CEO and Founder of JANCARE Private Health Services, Inc.

We’re a licensed home care agency with a sensitive touch and emphasis on personalized service and outstanding care, serving Dutchess, Putnam and Westchester County.

As the Director of Patient Services, I oversee the care of individuals who need medical or non-medical care, through a hands-on-approach by implementing strategic care plans to meet the needs of the client.

As a Registered Nurse with over twenty years of Nursing experience at Montefiore Hospital, I’ve worked in various specialty settings such as Dialysis, Urology, Gastroenterology, Emergency Room and Medi-Surgical.

As a charge nurse and preceptor for various medical units, I’ve been able to enhance my communication, leadership skills, and problem solving abilities which has helped to make me a successful delegator.

One of my profound attributes includes my ability to peel away the layers and ask the nursing staff “why”?

By always advocating for patients and asking why certain things were done, both my colleagues and patients voted for me to obtain the “Excellent Nursing Care Award”.

After attending school at Dominican College, I earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA), with a Major in Leadership in 2015. My later achievements included receiving numerous certificates from programs such as the WEDC, Goldman Sach 10,000 small business, Financial Peace University and National training seminar which helped to strengthen my leadership and finance abilities to run a successful small business.

At JANCARE, our staff is trained to have the mindset of being motivated, high achieving, dedicated and the commitment to care for our clients.

Due to my growing achievements, vision, leadership, confidence, humility, faithfulness, integrity and most of all love for people, I was given the opportunity to testify before Congress in 2017 on the topic of “Fostering Women’s Entrepreneurial Success”, which focused on mentorship, a very important aspect to the success of entrepreneurs.
